Nineteen A-Share Firms Disclose Buybacks; CATL Plans Up to RMB 40 Billion Repurchase

On August 13, 2026, 19 A-share listed companies published 22 announcements on stock buyback progress. Two firms unveiled repurchase plans for the first time, three plans were approved by shareholder meetings, seven companies reported implementation progress, and seven completed their buybacks. CATL proposed repurchasing up to RMB 40 billion, the largest plan approved that day. Aotai Biological completed a RMB 199 million buyback. Other notable amounts included Weihua New Materials' RMB 120 million plan and Fenglin Group's RMB 52.26 million in executed repurchases.

Among them, two companies disclosed buyback plans for the first time, three plans were approved at shareholder meetings, seven companies disclosed implementation progress, and seven companies completed their buyback plans.

Among the first-time disclosed plans, two companies proposed buyback amounts exceeding RMB 10 million. Weihua New Materials plans to repurchase up to RMB 120 million, while Dongnan Electronics plans to repurchase up to RMB 28 million.

CATL plans to repurchase up to RMB 40 billion, Xingyu plans to repurchase up to RMB 200 million, and Changyu A plans to repurchase up to RMB 36.3468 million.

In terms of implementation progress, Fenglin Group has repurchased RMB 52.2626 million, Liugong has repurchased RMB 19.9987 million, and Da Dongfang has repurchased RMB 12.0505 million.

Among completed buybacks, four companies completed repurchases exceeding RMB 10 million. Aotai Biological completed a buyback of RMB 199 million, Ruixing completed a buyback of RMB 20.0257 million, and Lianjian Technology completed a buyback of RMB 19.1164 million.
