24 A-share Companies Issue Placement Notices; Air China and Shenhua Top 2026 with RMB 20 Billion Each

On August 8, 2026, 24 A-share companies published private placement announcements. Newly disclosed plans from Zhejiang Shibao and Focuslight Technology target up to RMB 1.394 billion and RMB 1.021 billion, respectively. So far this year, 111 companies have completed placements, with 39 raising over RMB 1 billion. Air China and China Shenhua each raised RMB 20 billion, the highest amounts, followed by Songfa at RMB 7 billion. Dawei posted the largest single-day completion on August 8, raising RMB 96.5082 million.

On August 8, a total of 24 A-share companies issued announcements related to private placements. Of these, three companies disclosed new placement proposals, six had proposals approved by shareholder meetings, two received exchange approval, ten obtained approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission, two halted implementation, and one completed its plan.

Among the newly disclosed proposals that day, Zhejiang Shibao and Focuslight Technology had the highest fundraising targets, planning to raise no more than RMB 1.394 billion and RMB 1.021 billion, respectively. Among companies that had completed placements, Dawei recorded the highest total raised, at RMB 96.5082 million.

Since the start of 2026, 111 companies have announced completed placement plans, of which 39 raised more than RMB 1 billion. Specifically, Air China, China Shenhua and Songfa raised the largest amounts, at RMB 20 billion, RMB 20 billion and RMB 7 billion, respectively.
