Air China Posts RMB 89.27 Billion Revenue, RMB 2.29 Billion Net Loss in H1 2026

The net loss attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 2.29 billion, compared with a loss of RMB 1.81 billion in the same period of 2025, widening the loss year on year. During the reporting period, aviation fuel costs increased by RMB 8.44 billion year on year, mainly due to higher jet fuel prices.

China Eastern Airlines also released its 2026 interim report on the same day. In the first half of 2026, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB 74.23 billion, up 11.09% year on year.
