Alibaba Opens Public Beta of Enterprise AI Office Product Qwen Office, Releases Qwen3.8 Model

On August 3, Alibaba's enterprise-grade Agent product Qwen Office launched its public beta, and both individual and enterprise users can experience it through the official website. The product was formed by integrating three products: QoderWork, MuleRun and Wukong. It is the industry's first product to support desktop Agent, cloud Agent and enterprise collaboration Agent simultaneously, and is coordinated by Chen Yusen, the new chief executive officer of DingTalk. In June 2026, Alibaba integrated multiple internal Agent products, concentrating team and technical capabilities to build this new enterprise-grade Agent.

The domestic AI office agent track has recently seen multiple integration moves. On July 20, Tencent merged the entire QClaw product center into Cloud Product Division Six, where WorkBuddy is based. On July 30, ByteDance's Feishu product team merged with the Doubao product team to form a new Doubao product team; the Feishu GTM team merged with the Volcano Engine team to establish the "Creativity Service Platform", which is now unified in charge of MaaS and SaaS sales and services.

Qwen Office has initially integrated with DingTalk. Through collaboration with instant messaging tools, it can connect enterprise context scattered across business processes such as messages, documents, approvals and knowledge bases, enabling the Agent to enter real work scenarios. The product will also launch a standalone app and an international version in the future, achieving multi-terminal linkage and covering more office scenarios.

On August 3, Alibaba officially released the new-generation foundation model Qwen3.8, with total parameters of 2.4 trillion and significantly improved capabilities in programming and professional office work. The Qwen large model can be deeply coordinated and optimized with Qwen Office, providing underlying model support for enterprises.
