AMEC Subsidiary to Invest RMB 3.5 Billion in Lingang Base Phase II
AMEC's wholly-owned subsidiary AMEC Lingang plans to invest RMB 3.5 billion to build the second phase of its industrial base in the Lingang New Area. The Lingang New Area Management Committee will provide support.
On August 19, AMEC announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, AMEC Lingang, plans to invest RMB 3.5 billion to build the second phase of the AMEC Lingang Industrial Base in the Lingang New Area. The project integrates research and development, production, and sales, focusing on advantageous products such as etching equipment, metrology and inspection equipment, and thin-film deposition equipment. It aims to accelerate the development of more integrated circuit equipment and further expand into the field of pan-semiconductor micro-device processing equipment.
The project is planned to be located within the jurisdiction of the Lingang New Area Management Committee of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The Lingang New Area Management Committee will provide certain support to AMEC Lingang and the project.
