ANA Unveils Pokémon 30th Anniversary Livery on Boeing 787, Plans Three Special Aircraft
ANA revealed a special Pokémon 30th anniversary livery on a Boeing 787 at Haneda Airport, featuring Pikachu, Charmander, and other characters on a red fuselage inspired by the original Red and Green games. The airline also showcased themed seat covers and cups, and announced two additional green and blue aircraft to complete a fleet of three.
On July 28, ANA unveiled a special livery aircraft commemorating the 30th anniversary of Pokémon at a hangar at Haneda Airport, presenting it to media and fans. The aircraft features a red base color scheme with depictions of popular Pokémon including Pikachu and Charmander. The special aircraft is a Boeing 787, with the fuselage and engines painted with the beloved characters. The design is intended to celebrate the color scheme of the original Red and Green games.
In addition, ANA displayed seat covers printed with Pokémon patterns and paper cups to be used onboard. The airline will introduce green and blue liveries in the future, bringing the total number of special Pokémon aircraft to three.
