Anthropic Selects Nasdaq for IPO, Plans to Begin Process in October 2026

Anthropic has selected Nasdaq as the listing venue for its initial public offering and plans to begin the listing process around October 2026. The company is known for its Claude series of models. Nasdaq secured SpaceX's listing in 2026. Anthropic's final valuation has not yet been formally determined.

Under US securities market rules, Anthropic will still need to publicly file more detailed listing documents and disclose key information such as its financial condition, revenue structure and risk factors. Before formally launching an investor roadshow, the company must also complete a series of regulatory procedures. In recent weeks, discussion of the risks surrounding frontier artificial intelligence systems has increased. Anthropic chief executive Dario Amodei has previously spoken publicly about the pace of development of advanced artificial intelligence and safety oversight mechanisms.
