Apple Says Mainland China Has Not Launched Qwen-Integrated AI Feature
Apple customer service has stated that mainland China has not yet launched its Apple Intelligence feature integrated with Qwen. A Mac support guide on Apple's Chinese website, which mentioned the integrated feature, went live on August 8 and displayed that Apple Intelligence could work with Alibaba's Qwen model. The guide has since been removed from the website. Apple customer service responded that it has not received notification of a new project launch.
Qwen has been expected to provide artificial intelligence capabilities for Apple users in China. Apple has not yet issued an official announcement regarding the integration plan.
