In the NFL's official valuation released in September 2025, the Falcons were valued at US$8 billion, ranking 11th in the league. Blank, a co-founder of Home Depot, acquired the team in 2002 for US$545 million. The Falcons have never won a Super Bowl and missed the playoffs for the eighth consecutive season in the 2025-26 campaign.
Falcons chief executive Greg Beadles said in late July that the organization made significant changes to its football leadership this year. In January, the team hired former quarterback Matt Ryan for the newly created position of president of football, followed by the appointments of Chicago Bears general manager Ian Cunningham and former Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski. Beadles said that despite mediocre on-field performance in recent years, the business has been strong, with last year being its best. The Falcons' home stadium, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, will host the 2028 Super Bowl.
