Asics Opens 'ASICS FLAGSHIP SHINJUKU' in Tokyo on July 31

Asics unveiled its third global flagship store, ASICS FLAGSHIP SHINJUKU, in Tokyo's Shinjuku district on July 30, with the official opening on July 31. The four-story, 605-square-meter store sells running, tennis, basketball, and golf shoes, and for the first time at a direct-operated store, offers an original embroidery service for T-shirts. Asics Japan President Masashi Abe said the location is ideal for diverse customers and international tourists, with multilingual services. The nearby Onitsuka Tiger flagship store opened on July 10, and Abe expects synergy between the two.

This is the third flagship store after those in Harajuku, Tokyo, and Shanghai, China. The store covers about 605 square meters across four floors, offering running, tennis, basketball, and golf shoe products. As a first for a direct-operated store, it also provides an original embroidery service for T-shirts and other apparel.

Asics Japan President Masashi Abe said that Shinjuku's location is convenient, and he hopes it will be widely used by customers of different nationalities and ages, while also offering multilingual services for inbound tourists.

In addition, the flagship store of Asics' premium brand Onitsuka Tiger opened nearby on July 10. Abe noted that the two stores are conveniently located for customers including inbound tourists, and he hopes for a synergistic effect.
