Asics Raises Fiscal 2026 Forecast, Sales to Top 1 Trillion Yen for First Time

Asics raised its fiscal 2026 performance forecast, lifting sales to 1.05 trillion yen and net profit to 120 billion yen, both record highs, with sales set to exceed 1 trillion yen for the first time. Interim results for the six months ended June 2026 showed sales up 32.7% year on year to 534.4 billion yen and net profit up 53.3% to 82.1 billion yen, also record highs. Growth was driven by the Sportstyle everyday shoe line in North America and Europe, while Onitsuka Tiger benefited from demand from visitors to Japan.

Asics raised its consolidated performance forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 on the 14th. Sales were lifted from 950 billion yen to 1.05 trillion yen, and net profit from 110 billion yen to 120 billion yen, further updating the previous record-high forecast. Sales will exceed 1 trillion yen for the first time.

In the interim consolidated results for the six months ended June 2026, released at the same time, sales rose 32.7% from the same period in 2024 to 534.4 billion yen, and net profit grew 53.3% to 82.1 billion yen, also setting interim record highs. The Sportstyle business, which offers everyday shoes combining functionality and fashion, grew in North America and Europe. Onitsuka Tiger also performed well on expanding demand from visitors to Japan.
