ASUS Adds AI Agent Controls to DisplayWidget Center Monitor Software
ASUS has updated its free DisplayWidget Center monitor management software with AI Agent support, allowing Windows 11 and macOS users to command compatible AI agents to adjust monitor parameters automatically. Aimed at developers and AI agent creators, the feature is built on the new Display Control CLI and includes Agent Skill files. Compatible ASUS monitors can adjust brightness, color mode, color temperature, and OLED anti-flicker settings locally, with no cloud uploads. ASUS has released an update for its free DisplayWidget Center monitor management software, formally introducing AI Agent-enabled control of monitor settings. The update also introduces several new features, including AI Visual, which identifies on-screen content in real time on select ROG and TUF monitors and matches the optimal visual mode; an upgraded AI voice/text assistant; expanded OLED care tools; App Tweaker, which assigns display configurations by application; and ColorSync for color consistency across multiple monitors of the same model.
