Baidu Reports Q2 2026 Revenue of RMB31.3 Billion; AI Business Accounts for 50%
Baidu reported Q2 2026 revenue of RMB31.3 billion, with AI business revenue accounting for 50% of core business revenue for the second straight quarter. AI cloud infrastructure revenue rose 50% year-on-year to RMB7.3 billion, while GPU cloud revenue surged 283%. Adjusted operating profit was RMB3.79 billion, and adjusted profit per ADS was RMB7.22. On August 18, Baidu released its Q2 2026 financial results. The report showed quarterly total revenue of RMB31.3 billion, with Baidu's core business revenue at RMB25.2 billion, of which AI business revenue accounted for 50%, marking the second consecutive quarter with over half of revenue from AI.
In the quarter, Baidu's AI cloud infrastructure revenue was RMB7.3 billion, up 50% year-on-year; GPU cloud revenue grew 283% year-on-year, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of triple-digit growth. AI application revenue was RMB2.5 billion, up 3% year-on-year; AI-native marketing services revenue was RMB2.6 billion.
On profitability, Baidu's adjusted operating profit for the quarter was RMB3.79 billion, adjusted EBITDA was RMB6.15 billion, and adjusted profit per ADS was RMB7.22. As of quarter-end, Baidu's total cash and investments stood at RMB283.1 billion.
On the application front, Baidu completed the integration of its AI office product line this quarter, forming a product matrix including Baidu Dazi, Kuku AI, and Miaoda. Baidu Dazi's monthly active users grew 1063.79% month-on-month in July; Kuku AI office monthly active users exceeded 25 million. The Miaoda 3.5 version released in July completed six capability upgrades, ranking first in China's AI-native no-code application generation platform industry with a 33.4% market share. Baidu Famo, an enterprise-level AI agent, has received trial applications from 3,000 enterprises since its launch. As of June, Baidu APP had 640 million monthly active users.
Apollo Go, Baidu's autonomous driving business, continued to advance overseas commercialization this quarter. In Dubai, Apollo Go has launched fully driverless commercial operations, with users able to hail rides via the Uber app. In Hong Kong, the company obtained the first batch of fully driverless testing permits and started testing on Airport Island. In London, Apollo Go is conducting open-road tests in partnership with Uber and Lyft. Additionally, Apollo Go signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan's Turlov Private Holding Ltd. to explore driverless mobility services locally. In June, Apollo Go partnered with PostBus to conduct public road tests in Switzerland. To date, Apollo Go has covered 28 cities globally, with cumulative autonomous driving mileage exceeding 350 million kilometers, of which fully driverless mileage exceeds 240 million kilometers.
