Interest income totaled RMB496.135 billion, down 1.43% year on year, while interest expenses amounted to RMB259.402 billion, down 10.09%. The net interest margin stood at 1.27%, up 1 basis point year on year. As of end-June, the group's total assets were RMB40.19 trillion, up 4.77% from end-2025; total liabilities were RMB36.95 trillion, up 5.11% from end-2025.

Non-interest income for the first half was RMB120.170 billion, an increase of RMB5.983 billion, or 5.24% year on year, accounting for 33.67% of operating revenue. Within this, net fee and commission income was RMB47.209 billion, up 0.89% year on year; other non-interest income was RMB72.961 billion, up 8.26%.

On asset quality, as of end-June, the group's total customer loans were RMB24.74 trillion, up 5.49% from end-2025; customer deposits totaled RMB26.83 trillion, up 2.46% from end-2025. The non-performing loan ratio was 1.22%, down 0.01 percentage point from end-2025. The provision coverage ratio for non-performing loans was 200.85%, up 0.48 percentage point from end-2025. The capital adequacy ratio was 18.31%, down 0.54 percentage point from end-2025.
