Bank of China H1 Net Profit Up 5.1% to RMB 123.59 Billion
Bank of China reported a 5.1% year-on-year rise in first-half net profit to RMB 123.59 billion, with operating revenue up 8.48% to RMB 356.9 billion. The bank proposed an interim dividend of RMB 1.19 per 10 shares. Its non-performing loan ratio improved to 1.22% as of end-June, while the provision coverage ratio stood at 200.85%.
Bank of China released its 2026 interim report on August 28. In the first half, the bank achieved operating revenue of RMB 356.903 billion, up 8.48% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached RMB 123.594 billion, up 5.1%; basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.36. The bank proposed a cash dividend of RMB 1.19 per 10 shares (tax inclusive).
As of end-June, the non-performing loan ratio was 1.22%, down 0.01 percentage point from end-2025, while the provision coverage ratio for non-performing loans was 200.85%, up 0.48 percentage point from end-2025.
