Baotou Defence Industry Association Leads Six Firms on Guangwei Composites Visit
The Baotou Municipal Defence Industry Enterprise Association organised a six-company delegation to visit Guangwei Composites on August 6-7, focusing on technology matching and cooperation in carbon fibre and composite materials. The delegation toured six business segments spanning the full industry chain, including fabrics, prepregs, pultrusion products and advanced aviation and aerospace composites. The two sides then held talks on joint research and development of new materials technology, implementation of industrial projects and market supporting cooperation, while exchanging views on industry development experience.
On August 6-7, the Baotou Municipal Defence Industry Enterprise Association organised a delegation of six local key enterprises to visit Guangwei Composites for a research and inspection tour. The two sides held exchanges on technology matching and cooperation negotiations in the field of carbon fibre and composite materials. The delegation toured the six business segments of carbon fibre fabrics, prepregs, carbon beam pultrusion products, advanced aviation composites, advanced aerospace composites, and production equipment, tooling and moulds, gaining a comprehensive understanding of Guangwei Composites' layout across the entire carbon fibre industry chain and its industrialisation progress.
Following the tour, the two sides held a dedicated symposium to discuss joint research and development of new materials technology, implementation of industrial projects and market supporting cooperation, while also exchanging views on industry development experience.
