Baotou Steel Union has recently developed an 800MPa grade rare earth hot-rolled automotive structural steel with enhanced formability. The product employs a composite technology combining rare earth steel purification with nano-precipitation strengthening, delivering high strength, high plasticity, and excellent hole expansion performance. It is suitable for commercial vehicle structural components subject to high load and complex deformation.
The product has passed trial molding and batch application verification at a well-known commercial vehicle parts manufacturer.
