Beijing ESWIN Computing Technology Co. , Ltd. has submitted a listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The company is one of the few domestic chip product providers in China that is built on the open-source RISC-V instruction set architecture and has achieved large-scale commercial deployment.
ESWIN Computing was founded by Wang Dongsheng, founder of BOE. Wang previously led BOE to overcome China's "screen shortage" and helped it become a global leader in the semiconductor display industry, reshaping the competitive landscape of the global semiconductor display sector.
In 2019, BOE Technology published a board election announcement confirming Wang Dongsheng's formal retirement. Wang subsequently took up his new role at ESWIN Computing. In terms of 2025 revenue, ESWIN Computing was China's largest domestic provider of human-machine interaction chip products for smart terminals and the third-largest domestic provider of RISC-V main control chip products.
In the first quarter of 2026, ESWIN Computing generated revenue of RMB 494 million, up more than 18% year on year, though the company continues to face loss pressure. The proceeds from the offering are mainly planned for five areas: chip product development and iteration, software and hardware technology platform construction, potential strategic acquisitions, sales network and RISC-V ecosystem development, and working capital replenishment.
Xi'an Yicai, a company in the same ESWIN group, listed on the A-share market in 2025 and surpassed a market value of RMB 100 billion. Its actual controller is also Wang Dongsheng. Xi'an Yicai is a core silicon wafer supplier to Changxin Technology.
