Bending Spoons to Acquire AI Workspace Miro for 1.7 Billion Euros in All-Cash Deal
Bending Spoons has reached a definitive agreement to acquire AI innovation workspace Miro for an enterprise value of 1.7 billion euros, or about 1.4 billion US dollars, in an all-cash transaction. Both boards unanimously approved the deal, under which Bending Spoons will buy all outstanding Miro shares, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Miro has nearly 4 million paying users and roughly 600 million US dollars in annual recurring revenue, about 90% from enterprise and business customers.

Founded in 2013, Bending Spoons is an Italian technology group headquartered in Milan that acquires, transforms and operates digital products over the long term, using AI-driven automation and cost and revenue optimization. Over the past few years, the company has completed more than 50 acquisitions, including brands such as Eventbrite, Vimeo, WeTransfer, Evernote, Komoot, AOL, Brightcove and StreamYard. Earlier in 2026, the company filed for an initial public offering on Nasdaq. In August 2025, Bending Spoons raised more than 500 million euros in debt financing specifically to accelerate its acquisition strategy. Weeks later, the company agreed to acquire Vimeo for 1.1 billion euros in an all-cash deal.
Miro Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Andrey Khusid said Miro was founded in 2011 to give teams a place to think together and bring ideas to life, and has grown into an AI-first workspace where teams run their most important work. Nearly 4 million paying users rely on Miro across every industry and region it serves, including more than 750 customers with annual recurring revenue above 100,000 US dollars. Bending Spoons Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Luca Ferrari said more than 250,000 organizations have integrated Miro into their workflows, and Miro's annual recurring revenue has grown to about 600 million US dollars, nearly 90% of which comes from enterprise and business customers. After the transaction closes, Bending Spoons plans substantial investment in performance, reliability and features that support critical collaboration work. Bending Spoons acquires businesses to own and operate them for the long term, and Miro is no exception.
