Caida Securities Hires Xie Yunliang as Chief Economist, Ge Jun as Research Director, Analyst Team Reaches 14

Caida Securities has appointed Xie Yunliang, formerly chief macro analyst at Xinda Securities, as its chief economist, and Ge Jun, a veteran nonferrous metals analyst, as director of its research institute. Xie, a PhD in economics from Renmin University and former central bank official, registered with Caida on August 10, 2026. Ge, with over 20 years of industry experience, joined in July 2026. The firm's registered analyst team now totals 14, following a series of research expansion moves since 2025.

Xie Yunliang, formerly chief macro analyst at Xinda Securities, registered with Caida Securities on August 10, 2026, and has taken up the role of chief economist at the firm. His research covers macroeconomics, monetary policy, industrial economics, and capital markets. According to his public resume, Xie holds a PhD in economics from Renmin University of China and previously worked at the Monetary Policy Department of the People's Bank of China, where he participated in several key research projects. He entered the securities industry in 2016, serving as chief macro analyst at Minsheng Securities and then Xinda Securities, before joining Caida Securities in August 2026.

Caida Securities has been steadily expanding its research business. In September 2025, the company publicly recruited one general manager for its Caida Research Institute. In November of the same year, the Caida Securities Research Institute was officially inaugurated. In February 2026, the company decided to publicly recruit one chief economist. In June, the research institute issued a recruitment plan to hire six analysts—chief analysts, senior analysts, and advanced analysts—covering sectors including steel and nonferrous metals, big tech, new energy, pharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing, and chemicals.

In July 2026, Ge Jun, who has over 20 years of research experience in the nonferrous metals industry, joined Caida Securities as assistant to the general manager and director of the research institute. Ge has been engaged in nonferrous metals research since 2004. He previously served as chief analyst for the nonferrous metals sector and deputy director of the research institute at Changjiang Securities, and as assistant to the general manager and director of the research institute at Minmetals Securities. He has also been named to the New Fortune Best Analyst list multiple times. As of now, Caida Securities has 14 registered personnel in analyst positions.

On August 8, Caida Securities held its first regional innovation and development seminar, at which Xie Yunliang attended as chief economist and delivered a keynote speech.
