Cathay Pacific has waived rebooking and rerouting fees for flights to and from Tokyo Narita Airport today (August 16) due to heavy rain in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Passengers are still required to pay any fare and tax difference between their original and new itineraries. The waiver applies to tickets issued on or before August 14, 2026, with changes required by August 16 and travel completion by September 30, 2026. Cathay will monitor weather and arrange the next earliest flight if cancellations occur.

Cathay Pacific, in response to heavy rain in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, waives rebooking and rerouting fees for flights to and from Tokyo Narita Airport today.
