CATL Mall Draws 1,800 Enterprise Customers on Launch Day, Promises 3-5 Day Delivery

CATL's official mall website and mini-program have officially launched, with enterprise customer registrations exceeding 1,800 on the first day. The mall offers three product categories: cells, battery boxes and containers. The cell category includes 280Ah, 314Ah and 587Ah energy storage cells; the battery box category includes 280Ah and 314Ah (long version) energy storage boxes; and the container category includes EnerD and EnerD+ energy storage containers. All products are shipped directly from stock, with delivery in 3 to 5 days.

In 2025, CATL's energy storage business was primarily focused on large-scale storage, with minimal small and medium-scale storage operations. As the small and medium-scale storage market develops, particularly given the widespread global demand for distributed energy storage, CATL has begun adjusting its sales model. The mall model offers official direct procurement, supports a minimum order of three boxes, and emphasizes that no middlemen are involved.

Previously, online channels had sold CATL cells of questionable provenance; the mall model now provides an official direct procurement channel. Due to cost differences, mall prices are higher than large-scale storage cell prices, but the transparent pricing provides a price reference. Given that energy storage cell costs and prices are currently relatively opaque, leading companies selling at clearly marked prices offer a price benchmark for the industry.
