Published: Updated: By 24TopNews Editorial Desk

CCB Credit Card has introduced summer consumer incentives for 2026, with its 'Travel China' program drawing 1.6 million participants in the first half. Mainland residents made 88.02 million outbound trips, up 10.5% year on year. The bank offers 8% cashback on overseas spending and other perks, and has started preparing for the National Day holiday. The plan targets RMB 60 trillion in retail sales by 2030.

The '15th Five-Year Plan for Expanding Consumption' was recently issued, proposing to adhere to the strategic basis of expanding domestic demand and better leverage the fundamental role of consumption in economic development. Summer is a traditional peak consumption season, with cross-provincial and outbound travel heating up, and new consumption formats such as culture and tourism, performing arts, and trendy toys active. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has launched a national summer cultural and tourism consumption season, with local governments set to hold more than 30,000 cultural and tourism consumption events to improve the supply quality of seasonal cultural and tourism products and services. CCB Credit Card has launched a series of consumer-friendly measures targeting residents' high-frequency consumption needs. Its 'Travel China' brand attracted a cumulative 1.6 million participants in the first half of 2026. During the summer, it focuses on popular destinations such as Shanghai, Guangdong, Xinjiang, and Guizhou, offering 'one city, one charm' special services, linking local scenic spots, commercial districts, and merchants to cover consumption scenarios such as dining, playing, and shopping. In cross-border consumption, mainland residents made 88.02 million outbound trips in the first half of 2026, up 10.5% year on year. CCB Credit Card launched promotions including 8% cashback on overseas spending and full cashback on first mobile payment transactions with designated credit cards. In the first month of summer, 21,000 people signed up. CCB Credit Card, together with online travel platforms, launched exclusive travel discounts, including installment reductions and large subsidies for air tickets, hotels, and scenic area tickets. Since the special summer airfare-hotel-ticket program launched on July 1, nearly 3,000 person-times have benefited in the first month. In new consumption formats, the Bilibili World 2026 held in Shanghai in July attracted 400,000 participants from more than 30 countries and regions. CCB Credit Card participated with the theme 'Shining Star and Bright Moon, Jiangnan Painting Scroll,' integrating immersive experiences, exclusive payment discounts, and cross-scenario ticket linkage. In Shenzhen, CCB participated in the 'Enjoy the Bay Area, Bao'an Appointment' consumption season, launching the 'Play All Summer, Dragon Card with You' series. In Zhejiang, CCB partnered with ticketing platforms to offer instant discounts on credit card ticket purchases. In Yunnan, CCB co-hosted the 'Light and Shadow Spring City, Intangible Heritage Time' cultural tourism event, promoting movie-themed credit cards and exclusive benefits. The plan proposes that by 2030, total retail sales of consumer goods will reach approximately RMB 60 trillion. CCB Credit Card Center stated that while advancing summer activities, it has begun preparations for the National Day golden week and subsequent key consumption promotion activities, and will continue to deepen the construction of livelihood consumption scenarios and launch special credit card services for high-frequency consumption scenarios.
