Cerebras Systems, in its second earnings report since going public, raised its full-year outlook, but shares fell about 12% in after-hours trading. The company reported second-quarter core revenue of $210 million and GAAP revenue of $180.1 million, up 74% year over year. Net loss was $450.5 million, or $2.89 per share, with a diluted loss of $2.98 per share. In the same period last year, the company posted a profit of $309.5 million, or $1.91 per share.

The company said core gross margin for the current quarter would expand to between 38% and 40%.

Cerebras listed on Nasdaq in May 2026 at an offering price of $185 per share, raising $6.4 billion. Shares closed Wednesday at $262.06, up 42% from the offer price.

The company recently formed a partnership with AMD, with related products slated for production later this year. Cerebras also said OpenAI can use its chips to serve its latest model, GPT 5.6-Sol. Cloud services generated $126 million in revenue in the June quarter.
