CGN 2026 H1 Revenue Falls 2.76% to RMB31.48 billion, Net Profit Up 2.66%

CGN reported a 2.76% decline in first-half 2026 revenue to RMB31.48 billion, while net profit attributable to shareholders rose 2.66% to RMB6.11 billion. On-grid electricity from operating nuclear units fell 3.32% to 109.60 billion kWh, with market-based transactions accounting for 65.9% of total on-grid volume, up 9.8 percentage points year on year.

China General Nuclear Power (CGN) disclosed its 2026 interim report on August 25. In the first half of the year, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB31.483 billion, down 2.76% year on year (adjusted); net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB6.105 billion, up 2.66% year on year (adjusted); basic earnings per share stood at RMB0.121.

In the first half of 2026, on-grid electricity from the company's operating nuclear units reached 109.597 billion kWh (including associates), down 3.32% year on year. Market-based electricity transactions accounted for approximately 65.9% of total on-grid volume, up about 9.8 percentage points year on year. Affected by declines in market-based electricity transaction prices in some regions, the company's average settlement electricity price fell year on year.
