China Coal Energy Group has established Zhongmei Resources (Shuozhou) New Energy Co. , Ltd. , with registered capital of RMB150 million. The new subsidiary, with Gao Yang as its legal representative, will provide technical services for power generation, wind power, solar power, biomass and energy storage. Wholly owned by China Coal Resource Development Group, a subsidiary of China Coal Energy Group, the company's formation signals the group's further expansion into the new energy sector.

Business registration information shows that the company's scope of operations includes power generation technical services, wind power generation technical services, solar power generation technical services, biomass energy technical services and energy storage technical services.
In terms of ownership structure, the company is wholly owned by China Coal Resource Development Group, a subsidiary of China Coal Energy Group. The establishment of the new company marks a further expansion of China Coal's business footprint in the new energy sector.
