China Energy Engineering Subsidiary Wins 6.443 Billion Yuan EPC Contract for Shaanxi Power Plant
China Energy Engineering Group's subsidiary, Northwest Electric Power Design Institute, has won a 6.443 billion yuan EPC contract for the second phase of the Shaanxi Investment Zhaoshpan Power Plant, covering two 1,000 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired units and environmental facilities. The project is scheduled for about 31 months, but the contract has not been formally signed.
China Energy Engineering Group's subsidiary, Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co. , Ltd. , has won the EPC general contracting project for the second phase of the Shaanxi Investment Zhaoshpan Power Plant, comprising 2×1000 MW units, with a winning bid amount of 6.443 billion yuan. The project scope includes two 1,000 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units, along with environmental protection facilities such as desulfurization, denitrification, and dust removal systems. The total construction period is approximately 31 months.
As of now, the relevant parties have not formally signed the contract, and the project remains subject to uncertainty.
