China Everbright Water H1 2026 Profit Down 8.2% to RMB518M, Revenue Falls 27%

China Everbright Water announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026. During the period, profit attributable to shareholders amounted to RMB518 million, a decrease of 8.2% year-on-year. Earnings per share were 18.09 HK cents, and the interim dividend was maintained at 6.09 HK cents per share.

In terms of revenue, the group recorded RMB2.392 billion for the period, down 27.07% year-on-year. Among the segments, construction service revenue fell sharply by 91.34% to RMB101 million, while operation revenue increased by 9.11% to RMB1.611 billion, and finance income rose by 0.94% to RMB564 million. The overall gross margin was 51%, an improvement of 9 percentage points compared with the same period last year.

Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, the group stated that it will deepen its focus on specialised areas such as industrial wastewater treatment and agricultural non-point source pollution control. While consolidating its heavy-asset operation base, it will steadily advance the productisation and branding of its light-asset business, accelerating the scaled output of technological achievements and service models. At the same time, the group will closely monitor industry trends and changes in market demand, fully push forward its annual operational tasks, and continue to create long-term value for all stakeholders.
