The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services opened at Shougang Park in Beijing, with China Pacific Insurance Company (CPIC) participating for a seventh consecutive year as global partner and designated insurance provider. CPIC showcased low-altitude comprehensive liability insurance, commercial rocket launch insurance, remote-sensing satellite agricultural insurance, Smart Cloud Platform 5.0 and blockchain-based cargo insurance, and for the first time implemented a full business-to-customer closed-loop operating model.

The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services was recently held in Beijing. The event featured an immersive green interactive experience where visitors could scan a code, enter their travel mode and trip distance, and use a carbon inclusion platform algorithm to calculate travel-related carbon emissions. They could then complete carbon offsets through carbon credit cancellation and obtain carbon neutrality certificates. The booth also offered an experience project in which discarded plastic is regenerated and pressed into pendants, allowing visitors to try the process on site.

Staff at the CPIC booth said visitors could redeem various low-carbon items at this year's fair. CPIC staff said that over the past decade the company has provided more than RMB 2 trillion in cumulative overseas risk protection, covering more than 1,000 projects in nearly 120 countries and regions and participating in the construction of infrastructure, power, petrochemical and other projects.

On September 9, the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services opened at Shougang Park in Beijing. As a global partner and designated insurance service provider of the fair, CPIC participated for the seventh consecutive year and provided insurance protection for the event. At this year's fair, the CPIC booth was themed "CPIC Leads the Future with Intelligence," presenting achievements in AI innovation applications and urban inclusive services. The booth retained the brand's blue main visual identity and adopted curved inner and outer dual-top screens, with four functional sections: Smart Protection, Smart Connectivity, Smart Innovation and Smart Companionship. Visitors could learn in sequence about four dimensions: industrial protection, cross-border services, digital and intelligent innovation, and health and livelihood.

In the field of industrial and technological innovation protection, the booth displayed the Low-Altitude Comprehensive Liability Insurance for Unmanned Aircraft of Logistics Enterprises, providing a package of third-party liability for flight, third-party liability for sites and logistics cargo liability. Models of rockets and satellites were also displayed, showing CPIC's project practice in underwriting launch insurance and third-party liability insurance for the Zhuque-2E maiden rocket and the Ceres-1 series rockets. The booth also showcased the application of remote-sensing satellites in agricultural insurance, using high-resolution satellite imagery to achieve plot-level crop verification, growth monitoring and intelligent disaster loss assessment.

In digital risk control, Smart Cloud Platform 5.0 links with the Xingrui-11 satellite and flood risk maps to build a full-process technological closed loop covering pre-insurance identification, in-insurance monitoring and claims loss assessment for overseas projects. In shipping and trade, blockchain technology supports on-chain cargo insurance, shipping and trade data standards and maritime credit models. A sand table on China-Africa co-construction recreated in real scenes the results achieved from the Simandou iron ore project in Guinea to infrastructure in multiple African countries, with CPIC participating in related projects as lead underwriter.

In inclusive livelihood services, tracked AI inspection robots, interactive robotic arms and a three-dimensional smart construction site safety protection system were demonstrated on site. Products including Beijing Inclusive Home Property Insurance, the "Tai Chong Ni" pet medical insurance and Taixiangbao online medical insurance were showcased. The booth also featured a VR disaster prevention experience, the fair's official carbon inclusion check-in point and a financial consumer protection interactive challenge area. In 2026, CPIC for the first time fully implemented a business-to-customer closed-loop operating model on site at the fair.
