China Mobile reported 2026 first-half revenue of RMB538 billion, down 1.1% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB78.9 billion, down 6.3%. China Mobile Limited released its 2026 interim results on August 13. In the first half, the company's operating revenue reached RMB538 billion, down 1.1% year on year; profit attributable to shareholders was RMB78.9 billion, down 6.3%. Communication service revenue was RMB350.424 billion. As of end-June, mobile customers reached 1.011 billion, broadband connected customers 337 million, IoT card connections 1.511 billion, and mobile internet data traffic grew 16.0% year on year.

Revenue from computing and intelligent services rose to 22.6% of main business revenue, up 2.2 percentage points year on year. Computing service revenue was RMB52.902 billion, accounting for 11.7% of main business revenue, of which data center revenue grew 13.2% year on year, and AIDC revenue surged 486.1% year on year. Cumulative contracted AIDC capacity reached 7GW, with 5GW newly signed in the first half. Intelligent service revenue was RMB49.337 billion, representing 10.9%, with Jiu Tian model revenue up 12.8% year on year; more than 50 industry-specific large models have been launched. Fintech revenue grew 116.6% year on year; digital-intelligent culture revenue rose 12.5%. During the World Cup, Migu Video's AI-powered viewing feature was used 360 million times cumulatively.

Capital expenditure in the first half was RMB61 billion, up 4.5% year on year. Communication network spending fell 9.8% year on year, while computing network spending rose 71.3% and intelligent network spending increased 85.2%, with resources tilted toward computing and intelligent fields. In 2026, China Mobile is advancing its token operation strategy, making it the core operational unit in the AI era, covering consumer and enterprise-government scenarios. Leveraging Mobile Cloud and the AIDC computing infrastructure, it uses the MoMA platform to uniformly schedule computing resources. The company has established a token office to coordinate full-stack token innovation.

The company said that in the first half, mobile customers increased by 5.88 million net, mobile internet customers by 11.45 million net, and natural-person customers by 1.14 million net, while customer churn declined. Mobile data traffic growth reached 16%, with the growth rate doubling. Computing service revenue grew 14%, of which AIDC revenue increased more than fourfold year on year, intelligent computing service revenue achieved multiple-fold growth, and large project contract scale expanded at a doubled pace.
