On September 10, during the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services, the strategic partnership between China Pacific Property & Casualty Insurance, a subsidiary of China Pacific Insurance, and Control Risks was formally launched. The two parties will integrate professional capabilities in insurance protection, risk consulting and crisis response to jointly build an integrated insurance-plus-overseas-risk-services offering addressing Chinese companies' needs for overseas personnel security and risk management.
As Chinese companies continue to expand their overseas footprint, the security of overseas personnel involves pre-incident warning, crisis response and personnel evacuation. Traditional overseas insurance products focus on post-incident claims.
China Pacific Property & Casualty Insurance has built a full-process risk management system around overseas personnel security risks. Control Risks has operated in the global risk management field for more than fifty years and has global service capabilities in geopolitical risk analysis, special risk response, security risk assessment, operational security support, investment and commercial due diligence, and crisis management and response. Under this cooperation, the two parties will promote the integration of insurance protection and professional risk services and explore a closed-loop service mechanism covering pre-incident risk warning, incident emergency response and post-incident insurance claims. The cooperation covers country risk alerts, security risk consulting, security assessments for overseas projects, emergency support for unexpected incidents, coordination of personnel security evacuation and related insurance protection services for companies going global. China Pacific Property & Casualty Insurance and Control Risks will focus on key areas such as overseas mining, infrastructure and cross-border investment, iteratively improve personnel security mechanisms suited to Chinese companies and strengthen support for crisis response services for overseas personnel.
