China Post launched the 10th 919 Postal Agricultural Products Festival in Beijing on September 11, 2026, part of the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival. The company plans to advance integrated operations at 1,000 postal agricultural product bases. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China Post recorded more than RMB 73.2 billion in agricultural product transactions, with an average annual growth of 34%, and delivered over 22.1 billion agricultural product parcels, up 63% annually.
The 10th 919 Postal Agricultural Products Festival was officially launched on September 11, 2026. The event is one of the series of activities of the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival. The festival market displays agricultural products from across the country, including grains, seasonal fresh fruit, dried mountain produce and specialty foods, which residents can taste and purchase on site. As 2026 marks the tenth anniversary of the Postal Agricultural Products Festival, China Post is working around the theme of setting out for the countryside and delivering postal flavors home, relying on its urban and rural network, logistics system and e-commerce platforms to build a platform for direct supply from production areas and production-marketing connections.
China Post Group Corporation announced that it will treat the successful holding of the 10th Postal Agricultural Products Festival as a measure to serve rural revitalization and will advance related work in three areas. First, it will build a standardized and professional service system featuring one policy for each product, one policy for each industry and one policy for each category, advance integrated operational management at 1,000 postal agricultural product bases, continue to expand key categories worth 100 million yuan, and cultivate more agricultural product bases worth 10 million yuan and 100 million yuan. Second, it will make good use of the three-tier logistics system covering counties, townships and villages to promote the upward flow of agricultural products, while carrying out the downward flow of industrial goods, operating major single products in an intensive manner and promoting major single products at service stations. Third, it will leverage China Post's conditions of integrating the four flows, use the Postal Agricultural Products Festival as a carrier to create two types of ecosystems for agricultural product sales and major single products plus Pylego service stations, deepen coordination between e-commerce and delivery and financial businesses, strengthen channel coordination between postal outlets and Pylego service stations, and coordinate resources such as customers, warehousing, transport capacity and data.
In recent years, China Post has carried out agricultural product sales through the online Pylego platform, 54,000 offline postal outlets and 484,000 Pylego service stations covering all incorporated villages. By building a three-tier logistics network covering counties, townships and villages and advancing postal-express cooperation and integrated passenger-cargo-post development, the scope of agricultural product delivery has expanded. By improving the inclusive financial system, it has advanced proactive credit granting to farming households. China Post said these measures are respectively used to address the difficulties of selling, delivering and financing agricultural products. Data show that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China Post achieved more than RMB 73.2 billion in agricultural product transactions, with an average annual growth rate of 34%; delivered more than 22.1 billion agricultural product parcels, with an average annual growth rate of 63%; and its balance of agriculture-related loans exceeded RMB 2.5 trillion.
