China State Construction Executive Chen Yong Probed for Discipline Violations
Chen Yong, a Party group member and vice president of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, is under investigation for alleged serious disciplinary and legal violations, the central anti-graft body announced on September 5. The probe follows his appointment as vice president in 2025.
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission announced on September 5 that Chen Yong, a member of the Party group and vice president of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, is suspected of serious disciplinary and legal violations and is currently subject to disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.
Public records show that Chen Yong, aged 52 in 2026, has long worked in the construction industry. He previously served as general manager of the company's Southwest Regional Headquarters and as Party secretary and chairman of China Southwest Architectural Design and Research Institute. In 2025, Chen Yong was appointed vice president and Party group member of China State Construction Engineering Corporation and vice president of China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited.
