China State Construction International Reports 17.67% Drop in Interim Profit
China State Construction International reported an interim net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB4.33 billion for the six months ended June 30, down 17.67% year on year. Revenue fell 22.52% to RMB43.884 billion, while gross margin widened 3.6 percentage points to 18.6%. The company declared an interim dividend of 33 HK cents, 2.94% lower than the prior year. Operating cash flow turned positive at a record RMB3.796 billion, reflecting continued improvement in cash generation.

Basic earnings per share were RMB0.8197, while the interim dividend was 33 HK cents, a decrease of 2.94% compared with the previous year.
Revenue for the period was RMB43.884 billion, representing a decrease of 22.52% year on year. Gross margin improved by 3.6 percentage points to 18.6%. Operating cash flow recorded a record inflow of RMB3.796 billion, the highest ever, indicating sustained improvement in cash flow.
