China State Construction Engineering Corporation announced that its board of directors, at the 42nd meeting of the fourth session held on September 5, approved a resolution to remove Chen Yong from the position of vice president. Chen Yong, who is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, is currently under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission. As a result, he is unable to perform his duties and has left the vice president role effective September 5, 2026. The company has made appropriate arrangements for his responsibilities and stated that the departure will not affect its normal operations.
