Three Gorges Energy reported first-half 2026 revenue of RMB 13.357 billion, down 9.36% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 1.219 billion, a decline of 68.05%. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.0426. New grid-connected capacity reached 361.2 MW, while total electricity generation rose 0.53% to 39.521 billion kWh.
Three Gorges Energy disclosed its 2026 semi-annual report on August 27. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB 13.357 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 9.36%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was RMB 1.219 billion, down 68.05% year-on-year. Basic earnings per share amounted to RMB 0.0426.
In the first half of the year, the company added 361.2 MW of grid-connected installed capacity, including 99.7 MW from wind power and 161.5 MW from solar power. Newly approved or filed project capacity reached 1,674.4 MW, and the planned installed capacity of projects under construction totaled 18,386.5 MW.
In terms of power generation, the company's first-half output reached 39.521 billion kWh, up 0.53% year-on-year. Wind power generation declined, mainly due to lower average wind speeds in project areas and changes in consumption conditions in some regions. Solar power generation increased, benefiting from installed capacity growth.
