Chinese A-Share Filings Contain Date and Weekday Errors, Staff Confirm
Between September 8 and 11, A-share companies Sawave, Qide New Materials, Shifeng Culture, Jinzitianzheng, Aiyingshi and Fuchun Dyeing disclosed filings containing date-related errors, including incorrect weekdays and conflicting weekday labels for the same date. Some staff confirmed the mistakes by telephone on September 14, citing template use and inadequate review, and said corrections or closer checks would follow.
Among A-share listed-company filings disclosed between September 8 and 11, date-related errors appeared in announcements by Sawave, Qide New Materials, Shifeng Culture, Jinzitianzheng, Aiyingshi and Fuchun Dyeing. The errors included assigning the wrong weekday to a specific date and labeling the same day with different weekdays within a single announcement.
In a filing disclosed on September 8, Sawave wrote an event time as "15:30–17:00, September 15, 2026 (Friday)," whereas September 15, 2026 is actually a Tuesday. In its announcement on the resolutions of the sixth meeting of the fifth board of directors, Qide New Materials wrote September 23, 2026 as "Thursday," when it should be Wednesday.
In its announcement on progress in providing guarantees for a subsidiary, Shifeng Culture wrote the end of the reporting period in a table of the guaranteed party's financial data for the most recent year and period as "June 31, 2026." June has no 31st, and the correct date should be June 30, 2026. In Jinzitianzheng's announcement on convening its 2026 interim results briefing, the "important notice" section gave the meeting time as "9:30–11:00, September 16, 2026 (Friday)," while the body of the announcement described the same meeting as "9:30–11:00, September 16, 2026 (Wednesday)." The date actually falls on a Wednesday.
In Aiyingshi's announcement on participating in the 2026 collective reception day for listed companies in Shanghai and the interim results briefing, the meeting time was stated as "September 16, 2026 (Wednesday)," but the question-collection clause wrote "before 14:00, September 16, 2026 (Friday)." The same day was given two different weekdays in the announcement, and the correct description should be Wednesday. In the materials for Fuchun Dyeing's third extraordinary shareholders meeting of 2026, the meeting time "14:00, September 17, 2026" was labeled "Monday," while September 17, 2026 is actually a Thursday.
In previously disclosed announcements, Chenghe Technology wrote September 7, 2026 as Thursday, when it was actually Monday; Baihe shares wrote September 9 and September 8, 2026 as Tuesday and Monday respectively, when they were actually Wednesday and Tuesday; and Ludao Feng wrote September 15, 2026 as Friday, when it was actually Tuesday.
On September 14, Qide New Materials staff confirmed the error in the announcement by telephone, saying further verification was needed but not explaining the cause. Jinzitianzheng staff confirmed that the correct time should be Wednesday, September 16, 2026, and said the announcement used a template; when it was revised, the body text below was adjusted but the "important notice" above was not updated accordingly, and the issue was not found during review. Aiyingshi staff said the company had noticed the incorrect weekday and would conduct careful reviews when publishing announcements in the future. Fuchun Dyeing staff said by telephone that the incorrect weekday was a textual error that was not detected during the announcement review.
