By business segment, investment banking generated revenue of RMB 3.380 billion in the first half, up 133.97% year on year, the fastest growth among all segments. Private equity revenue rose 73.30% to RMB 870 million. Wealth management and equity business brought in RMB 6.363 billion and RMB 5.288 billion, respectively, each growing more than 50%. Asset management revenue increased 24.34% to RMB 672 million, while fixed income revenue grew 13.72% to RMB 1.952 billion.

In the first half of 2026, CICC achieved overseas operating revenue of RMB 5.966 billion, up nearly 50% year on year, accounting for about one-third of total revenue. The company is advancing share-swap mergers to absorb Dongxing Securities and Cinda Securities. The board did not deliberate on an interim profit distribution plan.
