CoreWeave Signs Short-Term Contracts at About $40 Million per Megawatt, Adding Over $25 Billion in Commitments
CoreWeave announced that, from June 30, 2026, it has continued to sign new computing capacity at higher prices. In the third quarter of 2026, CoreWeave signed short-term customer contracts with terms of about three to six months, priced at approximately $40 million per megawatt, calculated as annualized revenue divided by the power required by the corresponding computing cluster.
The company disclosed on its second-quarter earnings call on August 11, 2026 that, in early third-quarter 2026, it added more than $25 billion in net new customer commitments, a portion not included in the revenue backlog as of June 30, 2026. The company's total contracted power increased from about 3.7 gigawatts as of June 30, 2026 to about 4.2 gigawatts as of August 11, 2026.
