A court in Seoul has ordered Kwon Hyuk-bin, founder of gaming company Smilegate, to transfer 35% of his shares to his wife, a stake valued at more than 2 trillion won. Kwon, 52, holds a controlling interest in Smilegate, the developer of games including CrossFire and Lost Ark. His net worth is estimated at approximately $3 billion. His wife had sought half of Kwon's shareholding.

Both parties may challenge the ruling. The property settlement exceeds the 944 billion won awarded in the divorce case of SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won.
