CRCC Consortium Signs EPC and O&M Deals for Four Solar Plants in Romania
China Railway Construction Corporation and Romania's Oltenia Energy Group have formally signed commercial contracts covering EPC and operation and maintenance services for four photovoltaic power stations in Gorj County, southwestern Romania. The plants will be built on former ash disposal sites of two thermal power plants, converting legacy industrial land into green energy facilities, with work spanning design, procurement, construction and long-term maintenance.

The four stations, all located in Gorj County in southwestern Romania, will be built on the existing ash and slag storage yards of two thermal power plants owned by the client, enabling green energy facilities to rise on the site of traditional industrial infrastructure.
With the contracts now signed, the project has entered the implementation phase. Subsequent construction work will cover design, procurement, construction, and long-term operation and maintenance services.
