China Shipbuilding Unit Signs $1 billion LNG Dual-Fuel PCTC Order
Guangzhou Shipyard International, a controlled subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Corporation, together with China Shipbuilding Trading Co. , signed a contract on September 1, 2026, to build ten 8,200-unit LNG dual-fuel PCTCs for a renowned shipowner. The deal is valued at over $1 billion. China Shipbuilding disclosed the contract on September 2, noting that revenue will be recognized over the long performance period and that the contract will not materially affect current-period earnings.
