Far East Smarter Energy Tops Out AIDC All-Synthetic Fiber Preform Plant, RMB 1.988 Billion
Far East Smarter Energy has topped out the main structure of its all-synthetic optical fiber preform manufacturing project for AI data centers (AIDC). The project, with a total investment of approximately RMB 1.988 billion, is designed to meet high-bandwidth and low-loss requirements. Core equipment, including all-synthetic VAD+OVD deposition systems and high-precision drawing towers, has been installed for commissioning. The project will produce optical fiber preforms, hollow-core fibers, polarization-maintaining fibers, and patch cords, serving global cloud service providers, telecom infrastructure firms, and optical interconnect companies.
On August 18, the main structure of the AIDC all-synthetic optical fiber preform manufacturing project of Far East Smarter Energy was successfully topped out. The project, with a total investment of approximately RMB 1.988 billion, is specifically designed for the high-bandwidth and low-loss requirements of AI data centers (AIDC). Currently, core production equipment such as all-synthetic VAD+OVD deposition systems and high-precision drawing towers have been brought in for commissioning.
According to the project construction plan, the project will establish production and sales scale for optical fiber preforms and supporting optical fibers, hollow-core fibers, polarization-maintaining fibers, patch cords, and other products. The target customers include global cloud service providers, communication infrastructure enterprises, and global optical interconnect companies.
