Focuslight Reports Optical Communications Progress: Pluggable Micro-Optics in Volume, NPO/CPO Customers Added

At its results briefing, Focuslight disclosed several business developments. Micro-optics products for pluggable optical modules have achieved volume supply at certain customers, and the company continues to advance validation testing and mass-production introduction with more customers. For NPO/CPO-related micro-optics and high-channel V-groove products, the company added multiple customers in the first half of 2026, with some products passing batch validation and order backlog continuing to grow. In addition, the company has signed a technology license agreement with a key customer, and the agreement has already begun execution.

The OCS MLA product continues to ramp at a major customer and has entered the mass-production stage. For application scenarios such as CW light sources for silicon photonics modules and external laser sources for CPO, the company's aluminium nitride substrate materials are being developed in collaboration with several leading industry customers, with sampling and validation work progressing steadily, and customer coverage and business scale gradually expanding. In terms of strategic positioning, some of the company's core optical communications products have gained customer recognition, and existing production capacity has been pre-booked by customer orders and demand planning, providing a foundation for future business expansion.
