Fujian Investment Group Raises Stake in CIB to 3.06% in H1 2026

Fujian Investment Group, a provincial state-owned enterprise, increased its stake in Industrial Bank (CIB) by approximately 14.2 million shares in the first half of 2026. As of end-June, the group and its affiliates held about 645 million shares, representing 3.06% of total shares. CIB reported revenue of RMB 110.18 billion and net profit of RMB 41.13 billion.

Fujian Investment Group, a state-owned enterprise under the Fujian provincial government, has increased its shareholding in Industrial Bank (CIB) for several consecutive quarters. According to CIB's 2026 semi-annual report, the group added approximately 14.2 million shares in the first half of 2026. By the end of June, Fujian Investment Group and its affiliates held a combined 645 million shares, accounting for 3.06% of the bank's total share capital.

During the same period, CIB generated operating revenue of RMB 110.18 billion and net profit attributable to the parent company of RMB 41.13 billion. As of end-June, the bank's total assets stood at approximately RMB 11.46 trillion, up 3.3% from the beginning of the year.
