GIGABYTE Raises Graphics Card Wholesale Prices in Japan by 20% to 40%

GIGABYTE formally issued a price adjustment notice to distributors in Japan on August 1, 2026, raising wholesale prices across its entire graphics card lineup by 20% to 40%. Japanese hardware distributor CFD-BIZ stated that the specific graphics card models affected by the increase have yet to be fully announced. All newly submitted purchase orders will be executed at the revised prices. Hardware prices across Asian markets have been volatile in recent weeks, putting pressure on the consumer graphics card segment. NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards have risen by about 30% on average in the South Korean market.
