GigaDevice Chairman Proposes Buyback of RMB 1-2 Billion, Plans to Increase Holdings by at Least RMB 1 Billion

GigaDevice Chairman Zhu Yiming proposed a share buyback of between RMB 1 billion and RMB 2 billion, with the repurchased shares to be cancelled to reduce registered capital. He also committed not to sell any shares for 12 months from July 29, 2026, and plans to increase his holdings by at least RMB 1 billion between December 13, 2026 and July 29, 2027. GigaDevice announced that its chairman, Zhu Yiming, has proposed to repurchase A-shares through centralized bidding transactions, with total repurchase funds of no less than RMB 1 billion and no more than RMB 2 billion. The repurchased shares will be cancelled and used to reduce registered capital.

Zhu Yiming issued a commitment letter stating that he will not reduce his holdings in the company by any means for 12 months starting from July 29, 2026. Additionally, Zhu Yiming plans to increase his holdings of the company's shares through centralized bidding or block trading using his own funds and self-raised funds, with a total increase amount of no less than RMB 1 billion, without setting a price range, during the period from December 13, 2026 to July 29, 2027.

On the morning of July 30, GigaDevice shares rose nearly 5% in early trading, and were up more than 3% at the time of writing, trading at HKD 450.8, with turnover reaching HKD 8.34 billion.
