Gree Technical School in Zhuhai Approved to Enroll 300 Students in Autumn 2026
Gree Electric Appliances' technical school in Zhuhai has received official recruitment approval from the Zhuhai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The school, located in Xiangzhou District and headed by Gree Chairman Dong Mingzhu, will enroll 300 junior high graduates aged 15 to 18 for its first intake in autumn 2026. Nine three-year programs will be offered, with tuition ranging from RMB 9,000 to RMB 15,000 per year. Graduates will receive priority access to internships and employment at Gree Electric and its supply chain companies.
Zhuhai Gree Technical School, founded by Gree Electric Appliances, has officially obtained recruitment qualification with approval from the Zhuhai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. Located in Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, the school is headed by Gree Electric Chairman Dong Mingzhu as principal. In autumn 2026, the school will begin recruiting junior high school graduates from across the country, both current and previous cohorts, aged 15 to 18. Recruitment will continue until mid-September.
In its first year, the school plans to enroll 300 students across nine three-year programs, including refrigeration equipment operation and maintenance, mold manufacturing, intelligent equipment operation and maintenance, and internet of things applications. The refrigeration equipment program will admit 60 students, while each of the remaining eight programs will take 30. Tuition ranges from RMB 9,000 to RMB 15,000 per year.
Students will have access to corporate resources upon enrollment, and graduates will receive priority placement for internships and employment at Gree Electric and companies in its industrial chain. To ease financial burdens, eligible students can benefit from the national tuition exemption policy, students from financially disadvantaged families may apply for national grants, and academically outstanding students can apply for national and school scholarships.
