On September 17, 2026, the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo opened in Nanning, Guangxi. Haier New Energy signed a cooperation agreement with the Nanning Wuxiang New Area Planning, Construction and Management Committee to jointly build a green smart computing center. The project adopts an integrated model combining computing infrastructure construction with green power resource support, aiming to enhance regional computing service capacity and, with Nanning as a hub, establish a demonstration project serving ASEAN.

Guangxi is advancing a cross-border artificial intelligence industry development path of "research and development in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, integration in Guangxi, and application in ASEAN," and has proposed to fully complete the China-ASEAN AI application cooperation center by 2028. Nanning is building a digital economy cooperation hub oriented toward ASEAN and constructing an integrated industrial ecosystem of "computing power, algorithms and data." Haier New Energy's project is located in Nanning.

Haier New Energy uses a "cloud-edge-device" three-tier architecture as its technological foundation, providing AIDC computing-power and electricity coordination solutions for national hub computing centers, regional computing centers and distributed edge computing scenarios, including computing-power and electricity coordination and energy and computing ecosystem coordination. In terms of computing-power and electricity coordination, the solutions include green power direct supply, AIDC energy storage and UPS, SST, smart energy management, wind-liquid same-source and waste heat recovery, used to improve power supply reliability and resilience and reduce overall electricity costs. In terms of energy and computing ecosystem coordination, Haier New Energy is building an energy internet ecosystem platform, adopting an AI plus new energy model, applying artificial intelligence across all business processes and scenarios, and working with ecosystem partners to expand from energy infrastructure construction to distributed edge AI data centers. With the support of the Nanning municipal party committee and municipal government, Haier New Energy will build a dual-coordination demonstration project featuring "coordination between electricity and computing power and coordination between energy and the computing ecosystem."
