Henderson Land Interim Profit Up 40.65% to HK$4.09 Billion; Dividend Held at HK$0.5

Henderson Land Development announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30. Together with a pre-tax gain of approximately HK$1.568 billion from the government's resumption of New Territories land, the group's attributable pre-tax published profit from Hong Kong property development was approximately HK$3.3 billion.
For the six months ended June 30, the group's attributable contracted sales in Hong Kong totaled approximately HK$18.118 billion, up 1.88 times year on year.
Regarding urban old-building redevelopment projects, approximately 300,000 square feet of attributable floor area has been allocated to the sales plan for the second half of 2026. During the period, approximately 2.25 million square feet of attributable land held by the group in the Hung Shui Kiu/Ha Tsuen New Development Area and San Tin was gazetted by the government for resumption with cash compensation, amounting to approximately HK$2.349 billion. Excluding the above land, the group's New Territories land reserve stood at approximately 38.4 million square feet.
As of June 30, the group's net borrowing was HK$58.432 billion, with a gearing ratio of 17.9%. The group also had shareholder loans of HK$76.955 billion, which have consistently served as a stable source of funding.
